External building renovations October 2012

Windows: most of the old sash windows have now been replaced with 'A' rated double glazed windows.

Roof: Work on the new clay tilled roof is almost finished with just a few more roof tiles to be fitted and some lead work to finish.

All the flat roofs have been stripped and rebuilt with new waterproof boarding, roof felt and drainage installed.

New gutters, lead work, soffit and facia boards are being fitted to the roof facade.

Brickwork: All the external brickwork is being repaired and re-pointed. A stonemason is working to repair balustrades and some of the decorative brickwork around the windows on outside of the building.

Building project schedule: We estimate the project should take another six weeks to complete from the beginning of November 2012.

December 2012 renovation update

The external building renovation works are almost complete. The roof and windows have all be signed off and meet the clients satisfaction.

All the brickwork / masonry re-pointed, repaired where necessary and cleaned.

The scaffold taken down and the grounds cleared of waste / rubbish. Some final snagging and finish touches still to be done before the building is handed back to the client.
