Health and safety on site

Nationcare Windows and property services is committed to protecting their work force, visitors and members of the general public both on site and within the surrounding areas affected by building works.

Scaffolding is provided by professional scaffolding company with appropriate safety ladders secured, with lockable security hatches. All scaffolding has a curtain wall safety net to prevent tools or debris falling out side of scaffold area.

Safe disposal of hazardous waste materials and debris in designated areas with the provision of suitable waste disposal containers i.e. skips and bins.   

Site health and safety signage is clearly displayed on all access points to the building site.

Personal protection equipment and clothing, indicated on health and safety signage, must be worn at all times whilst on site. i.e. Hard hat, high visibility waistcoat, steel toecap boots or shoes.

Additional personal protection equipment is required according to risk assessment for a particular task.

These items are available form the site office: safety goggles or glasses, ear protection, dust masks and safety gloves.  

All visitors should report to site office on arrival for health and safety briefing and to make sure they have suitable personal protection clothing.

A copy of the site health and safety risk assessment is available from the site office.
